My first solo exhibition in San Diego will open on October 19 at the North Coast Repertory Theatre Gallery (NCRT), Solana Beach.  "Ambiance de France" is an exhibition of my recent watercolor paintings of French towns and Paris cafés.  This show will take place in conjuction with the Theatre's next play HEROES (original title "Le Vent des Peupliers," French comedy by Gérald Sibleyras, translated by Tom Stoppard).

I've been a big fan of France for many yeasr and travel there as often as I can.  So you can imagine my excitement when I was asked to bring my work to make the gallery look as French as it can be.  All the paintings in the show were inspired by my recent visits to France.

Artist reception will be on October 26, 6-7pm, at the NCRT Gallery.  Please join me and enjoy une petite promenade on the streets of Paris and in the beautiful countryside.  But don't let the evening end without seeing the play.  As a thank-you, you will receive $5 off regular ticket price on the 26th.  ARTNIGHT is a special code you need when you go to the theater's website or call the box office at 858-481-1055 to get special offer.  I look forward to meeting you there.
